The 5140R sports a 37.2mm wide rosegold case with a brown alligator strap, which is closed with a rosegold folding clasp. The watch is powered by Patek Philippe´s in-House made movement calibre 240Q. It displays the hours, minutes, day, month, leap-year, moon-phase, and 24-hour time.

Patek Philippe 5140R |
The calibre 240Q is an ultra thin movement, featuring a 22ct. micro rotor, which winds the mainspring to a power reserve of 48 hours. As with all recent Patek Philippe timepieces the 5140R´s signature for highest quality, is the Patek Philippe Seal.
This Seal indicates that the watch has passed Patek´s high standards of fine watchmaking in overall quality, precision and robustness of the timepiece.

On the wrist the 37.2mm wide case looks just gorgeous and will easily fit smaller wrists. This is something I really enjoy about Patek Philippe watches, as they do have a very classic and moderate case size.

The height of the watch is just a tad thinner than my Ole Lynggaard Leather Strap, so it is very comfortable to wear and will easily slip under the cuffs of your shirt.
Overall the 5140R is one of the best Grandes Complication timepieces currently available. However if you plan to buy one be prepared to wait a bit for the watch to arrive, as I assume that this will be a highly sought after timepiece.
